Fourth and Final Cut

We baled a very unusual fourth cut of hay yesterday afternoon.  In the six years that we have grown hay we've only ever had three cuttings a year, but because of the long and beautiful spring and summer we had a very long growing season!

I think this is the first year we haven't had a single hay cutting that was rained on.  It was a very good year!
