Unwelcome Visitor

Sorry again for the lack of postings, but I have a really good reason:

For the last week or so I have had a very unwelcome visitor. It took up residence in my intestine and refused to leave. I usually enjoy visitors, especially friends and family, but I didn't invite this one and it was pushed upon me (or into me) somewhere along my travels. You know, if you are going to stay with someone, uninvited, the least you could do is be helpful. But this guy, he kept inviting his friends and (I'm certain) spawning their children- all without my permission! It's bad enough they weren't welcome, but they kept me up all night and used vice grips and crowbars to stab my small intestine like some devil's version of Pin the Tail on the Donkey. They made me suffer through all sorts of humiliation, like figuring out how to get *you know* into a very small vile. After my first trip to the emergency room(dehydration) I found out that Cryptosporidium was the name of the game. Unfortunately there isn't much they can do except let it run it's course. After taking it easy for a few days I am finally feeling human again. I'm not eating solid foods yet, but at least I have regained control of my bodily functions. This is the second parasite I've had in my life and I'm beginning to think I should make a check list, "Ghirardia: Check; Cryptosporidium: Check". I'm just glad I'm feeling better because that was a real pain in my ass (literally).
