This is what I like to see when I get home:
Art and our friend Chuck, who is visiting from GA for a few days, were baling hay when I came home Friday. It made me so very, very happy that I did not have to take part. I did help unload the first two loads on Saturday morning, though. They are out baling the rest of the hay while I watch from the porch. It doesn't happen very often that I don't have to help bale, so I'm going to enjoy myself! This is the third and final cut of the year and it's the largest we've had all year. Usually we only get one and a half wagon loads by third cut, but this year we'll have three loads.
Art's been putting Chuck to work since he got here on Thursday. Chuck has helped Art finish an engine installation, he's helped bale, he's helped unload the wagons... I'm beginning to wonder if this is why no one ever wants to comes over, for fear they will have to work really, really hard.
