Art was busy cleaning out the barn yesterday. It's really amazing how much poop three cows can produce. I'm not complaining as it will make excellent compost for the hay field, I'm just commenting and the two dump truck loads of sh*t he scooped out of the barn.

I didn't help, but not because I am a princess; I have, in fact, helped shovel manure before (in my super cute rubber boots) but someone had to take pictures and post them on the blog!

Helen and Peggy seem much happier now in the clean barn as it they are now bothered a little less by the flies that breed in their poop.

Cleanliness is next to godliness! (or something)
