We woke up Saturday morning to a river running down our driveway (well, it was ice by then, but you still).  Some part of the water line broke over night and created a skating rink on our driveway.  Art shut the water off which means no water in the house and no water to the cows in the barn.  He was able to change things around in the basement so that we could still get water in the house but Art had to carry 5 gallon buckets of water the cows.

Art borrowed a mini-hoe Sunday and dug up the area- luckily he found the crack quickly and didn't have to make to much of a mess!  Art fixed the line- using metal parts instead of the plastic part that cracked- filled in the hole and everybody had water. Luckily it was a fairly nice day to dig a hole!

I'm sorry if I'm light on the details (or even incorrect) but I really didn't pay much attention to what exactly happened..  I only know that something broke, we didn't have water, Art fixed it, and now I have water.
