Sorry About the Delay

Sorry about the lack of postings, life has been busy!

Two weeks ago my mom and I went to Texas to vist my grandparents for a few days. We had a wonderful time and I got to drive my aunt's Mini Cooper (totally my next car). We flew home late Sunday afternoon and then Art and I left Monday morning for Canada. We originally had planned to leave later in the week, but found out Art's uncle had passed away and we wanted to make it to the funeral on Tuesday. We spent a week in Canada seeing his family and going to the International Plow Match (it sounds lame, but it was a lot of fun!), and came home the following Sunday. I had planned to go back to work, but discovered that between Texas and Canada (a forty degree temperature difference, by the way) I had no clean clothes to wear. So I took Monday off (actually, I already had it off but I overcame my guilt and just stayed home.) and caught up on laundry and house keeping.

Buddy stayed at my parents' house with their dog, Ringer. He was very spoiled there- allowed to sleep on the bed; a habit he is having a hard time breaking, especially since Art allows it (which is easy for him because Buddy doesn't press his entire body into his...only mine. Like we're spooning. It gets very hot and I can't move).

So that's been my life for the last couple of weeks. Not overly exciting, but really enjoyable!
