April Showers

I realize that it's May and I have been negligent in my posting.

While we were in a drought for the last year or so, those effects were completely reversed last month- apparently the wettest April in recorded history (I know that sounds made-up, but that's what they said on the radio)- when we received seven inches of rain in two days.  There is a small creek just down the hill from our house that is normally only a foot (or less) deep that had overflowed its banks (to say the least) and we'd never seen it rise so high. I drove by it one morning on my way to work, and then called Art and made him go take pictures. It was only raining a little.
