Friends

This weekend our very good friends, Emily and Joey, came for a visit. We always love when the come visit because they are so much fun but they also don't mind being put to work. Art and Joey dug up a tree that the previous owner had planted too close to some other trees (it was starting to feel quite crowded) and they got to use heavy machinery, which is always a bonus. Art was so excited that he dug up a tree and re-planted it, all without breaking a sweat. The boys had fun using the backhoe and skidloader and doing other manly things like drink beer and shoot guns. Emily and I, meanwhile, sat on the porch and read our books. We were all in our happy places (including the tree).
