Weeds Are Flowers, Too!

It's that beautiful time of year again; the air smells of lilacs, the apple tree is blooming (and it looks to be an abundant year), and my yard is filled with dandelions, violets and creeping charlie. Yes, I know that they are weeds; the creeping charlie is, apparently, quite invasive and will kill my grass. But I don't care. I love the little purple flowers and the 'creeping' foliage. I'm not trying to win awards for my lawn, so it's not a big concern. Well, it's not of any concern, really.

My potatoes are also starting to come up! I've been told that I'm running a CSA program for some friends this year, so I'll be planting more potatoes this weekend along with my onions and whatever else I feel like planting.
