I called Art this morning and asked him (nicely with no 'tone') if he would call the heating guy to see if the part had come in. Art said, "Why don't you call him and put some pressure on him. People really like it when you constantly push them". Excuse me? I told him to dial down the bitter and to call me back when he could speak to me like he still loves me.
He did call the guy and left a message saying, "Just wondering if you had gotten the part in because my wife is really upset about it." His exact words.
You know, for someone who moved to Florida because he hates cold weather, he sure doesn't seem to mind it. Especially when it's winter inside our house.

"dial down the bitter"--excellent! i usually just ask rich to gently remove his tampon and try again. your approach is much nicer. on a side note, we're (allegedly) chopping down a few trees soon if y'all need some fuel for that woodstove...
