In the Trenches

Sorry about the delay, but our phone line was cut in the recent developments, so I haven't been able to get online at home.

Last Friday Josh came and dug the trenches for the electrical and the water; I didn't realize this was going to happen until I drove into the driveway and could go no further. It's a good thing I don't care what my lawn looks like because it is a complete disaster. People keep joking about how we have a really, really bad mole problem.

The trench for the electrical starts in the front yard where the power pole is,

and meets up with the trench for the water line that starts in the side yard,

and the two flow through the driveway,across the yard,

past the garage and corn crib,
to the shop.

The water is hooked up and working (by Art, of course) and Josh will come and finish the electrical at some point. Right now Art can just use an extension cord from the corn crib, so he's not in dire need yet. We also finished insulating the ceiling (I'll post a picture of the finished ceiling sometime...)
